Corporate Caricatures

The caricature above and the two below were done in pen and watercolour, the most widely used style I do. They were all done for the Sloan School of Management at M.I.T. Photos were supplied to me by the client, along with a brief description of each person's personality, and I did the rest.

The painting below is an example of a highly finished oil painting, done for the design firm The Barbarian Group. Every character in the painting is a member of the staff, and the entire piece is based on an historical painting chosen by the head of the firm. I took photos of each staff member in the proper pose. Completion time was about three weeks. The painting was made into a Christmas card and sent to the clients of the Barbarian Group, and the final painting was hung in their offices. What a fun job!
